Academy of Professional studies is Sri Lanka’s first private teacher training institute established in the year 1997. Our institution is a PEARSON assured organization aimed at creating a holistic educational experience for our students. Academy of Professional Studies is home to a rich 27-year history, being a pioneer within the education sphere. Our teacher training academy operates under the management of Sujatha Vidyalaya – Nugegoda, Highlands College – Maharagama and Sujatha Preschool expanding to over six decades within the Education Industry.

We offer a range of educational services from Diploma in Mathematics, Diploma in Sciences, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Daycare Training (PEARSON/TVEC), Diploma in Teaching English Language and Literature, Diploma in Primary Education (PEARSON), Diploma in Elementary Education (TVEC), and Teaching English as a Second Language (TVEC – NVQ Level 5).

The low student to faculty ratio allows our teachers to focus on developing the next generation of leaders by providing a vast array of knowledge and fostering improvements in modern practical learning skills.

Our Global STEAM Kids curriculum drives the integration of STEAM and robotics technology at a young age to foster independent thinking. We aim to provide the necessary practical skills during the early childhood learning period to improve and increase technological awareness amongst young learners.
